Across all programs, live hands-on training with real patients is a core part of the curriculum — not an add-on. Practical hands-on training is mandatory for all participants, while dummy exercises remain optional. Each program includes lectures, live patient viewing, practical hands-on training, and concludes with comprehensive Q&A and doubt sessions.

Yes, absolutely. MD and DNB Dermatologists are fully eligible to apply and are among the most common participants at IICSAM. The eligibility criteria are designed as per the new NMC guideline, which recognises MD/DNB Dermatology as a qualifying postgraduate degree for performing hair transplant procedures.

No. As per the current NMC (National Medical Commission) guideline, MBBS-only doctors are not eligible to perform hair transplant surgery or enroll in this course. IICSAM awards every graduate a certificate upon course completion, officially recognizing their training accomplishment. The training certificate is awarded once the faculty is satisfied that participants have met the required standards. The certificate is issued by IICSAM™, a venture of Cosmoworld Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., whose faculty holds affiliations with internationally recognized bodies including ABHRS and ISHRS.

IICSAM does not directly provide accommodation, but they actively assist with arrangements. The front desk team can help overseas and outstation participants with their travelling, lodging, and dining concerns.
